Worldwide Fruit is our United Kingdom agent in which we have a 50 per cent equity position. Worldwide Fruit specialises mainly in pipfruit distribution and marketing, but also handles a range of other products including stonefruit, avocadoes, soft fruit and kiwifruit. Worldwide Fruit is the leading category manager for a number of the UK’s biggest retailers.
The Oppenheimer Group is a significant distributor of six key product categories (apples, grapes, kiwifruit, citrus, stonefruit and hot-house produce) around North America. Turners & Growers has a 15 per cent equity stake in the Oppenheimer Group.
