Around 20 staff are employed at the Turners & Growers pre-pack facility located in Pukekohe, just South of Auckland, where top quality potatoes, onions and carrots are packed into a variety of bags for sale into supermarkets around New Zealand.
The current pre-pack facility has been operational since 1999, and is a familiar landmark in the Pukekohe region. The majority of the product packed at Pukekohe is sourced in the district and each year the facility packs and distributes 7 million kilograms of potatoes, 1.5 million kilograms of carrots and 1.5 million kilograms of onions.
