We have a fantastic vacancy for a Senior Quality Controller in our Packhouse based in Mangere. This role is responsible for overseeing packhouse quality management and reports to the Quality Control Manager.
We are looking for an experienced quality controller who has had exposure to the fruit industry and the quality issues and programmes associated with this industry. This role will be responsible for daily quality checks, and ensuring compliance with domestic and international quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills:
- Previous Quality Control experience
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Very good numeracy skills and attention to detail
- The ability to relate well to, and work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
